Credit Analyst of Risk Management (m/f/d)

Full-time

Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany (on-site)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Credit Analyst of Risk Management Department to join our team. The successful candidate will be, together with the department head, responsible for all lending procedures in back office (“Marktfolge Kredit”) including preparation and reviewing of independent risk reports as well as voting of credit items applied by front office and all related post-lending management procedures.


Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Organization of operational procedures including credit process controls, credit analysis, risk and quality control, credit administration
  • Responsible for organization, management process control and quality control of post-lending management including early warning procedures and related tasks
  • Responsible for credit business review including internal credit limit, credit rating and implementation check of credit disbursement
  • Ensuring compliance with internal regulations as well as with KWG and MaRisk
  • Cooperation with internal and external auditors with regard to lending business

Qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics or related field, CFA or FRM would be an advantage
  • More than 5 years of corporate and credit experience in a commercial bank in Germany, with in-depth knowledge in corporate banking including key basic products (working experience in both, in German as well as in foreign banks would be an advantage)
  • In-depth knowledge of KWG and MaRisk, especially regarding BTO 1 and related EBA-Guidelines particularly with regard to loans for large corporate clients and banks
  • Strong analytical skills especially regarding analyzing the creditworthiness of our clients
  • Business-fluent in English and German, ideally supplemented by another foreign language such as Chinese
