We are looking for a technical sales engineer to support the sales of our battery testing equipment and other new energy products. The technical sales engineer is capable of selling complex scientific and technological products or services. The technical sales engineer uses their technical skills to explain the benefits of their products or services to potential customers and to show how their products or services are better than their competitors'.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by targeting potential clients in various industries.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
  • Create and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective customers.

2. Technical Support:

  • Provide technical advice and support to clients, both pre- and post-sales.
  • Understand the technical requirements of customers and suggest appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

3. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Handle customer queries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality support and service.

4. Product Knowledge:

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the products and services offered.
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry developments, product updates, and technological advancements.
  • Conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams on product usage and features.

5. Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and sales targets.
  • Prepare and submit sales forecasts, budgets, and reports.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.

6. Negotiation and Closing Sales:

  • Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements with clients.
  • Close sales deals effectively and follow up to ensure smooth implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and track progress against sales goals.

1. Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related field) or equivalent technical training.
  • Business or sales qualifications are advantageous.

2. Technical Skills:

  • Strong technical background and understanding of the products and services offered.
  • Ability to explain complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.

3. Sales and Communication Skills:

  • Proven sales experience and ability to meet or exceed targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.

4. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.

6. Experience:

  • Previous experience in technical sales, business development, or a related field.
