To strengthen our team in Tübingen near Stuttgart, we are currently looking to recruit a

Solution Owner (f/m/d) ELN


  • Collaborate with scientists, researchers, and other stakeholders to identify and analyze requirements for digital lab operations
  • Translate business requirements into actionable Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) configurations
  • Evaluate process changes and conceptualize required adaptations to ensure smooth operations in our labs
  • Monitor and maintain the Electronic Lab Notebook in a proper operating condition to meet business requirements
  • Design & ensure interfaces with internal systems (e.g. master data systems, lab equipment connectors, data warehouse)
  • Identify, develop, and deploy upgrades and plug-ins to improve operational efficiency and business processes
  • Provide support and troubleshooting assistance to end users as needed and manage vendor support
  • Lead and provide direction for operational activities as well as project-based support
  • Contribute to overall FAIR scientific data management

  • Academic degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics) or an equivalent qualification
  • Practical experience with ELN within the Life Science and/or Biotechnology industry, knowledge of Sapio ELN is a plus
  • Strong affinity for data and information technologies
  • First experience in formal (agile) projects and service management
  • High motivation and outcome orientation as well as a keen eye for detail
  • Strong planning, organizational and communication skills
  • Flexible, proactive way of working, adaptability to a dynamic work environment and a strong service mentality
  • Fluency in English and German (spoken and written)
