GEA Group is seeking a dynamic and organized Assistant to support our Chief Information Officer (CIO). Roles and Responsibilities:
As the Assistant to the CIO, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our CIO office. Your responsibilities will include:

Efficiently managing the CIO's email and calendar, keeping them organized and up-to-date.

Facilitating internal and external meetings, from invitations and agenda preparation to minutes and report generation.

Coordinating business travel arrangements, managing expenses, processing invoices, contract/document processing and general office management.
-
Tracking and control of action points, resubmissions, deadlines, and key dates.

Active participation in selected Group projects and taking on ad-hoc special tasks as needed.

Effectively coordinating decision-making processes at the top management level by supporting of analyses, reports and statistics and creation of presentation material.

Serving as a professional liaison between stakeholders.

Supporting the IT Management Team.
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
-
A successful completion of business-related studies or professional training in areas such as foreign language/European Secretary, Management Assistant, or commercial vocational training.

Several years of proven, relevant experience as an Assistant at the top management level, preferably in the systems engineering industry.

The ability to work independently, with precision, and dependably while handling ad-hoc tasks with flexibility.

Exceptional communication skills and a passion for teamwork, with the ability to meet tight timelines when required.

Interpersonal and intercultural sensitivity, enabling effective communication with diverse conversation partners.
-
An open, positive, customer-oriented character and skilled manners.
-
A commitment to confidentiality and discretion.
-
Proficiency in both English and German, both verbally and in writing.

Professional proficiency with MS-Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
