We're seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Support Specialist to join our After Sales Support team. This role is ideal for someone looking to expand their technical skills and grow professionally within a supportive, collaborative environment.


As a Technical Support Specialist, you'll play an essential role in providing technical support for Astera's lighting products and applications. You'll assist customers, distributors, and service centers with inquiries and technical issues, and gain hands-on experience with industry-leading products. Additionally, you'll have opportunities to develop expertise in training, enabling you to lead sessions for distributor technicians both in-house and on-site. Full training will be provided, along with continuous support to enhance your skills and facilitate professional development.


  • Technical Support for App and Lights: Provide expert assistance for Astera's app and lighting products through direct support channels and online platforms such as Facebook, Discord, and Instagram.
  • Service and Repair Support: Learn to diagnose and resolve technical issues and assist in creating new spare part lines and documentation as needed.
  • Training Support: Build skills to conduct training sessions for distributor technicians, with the potential to grow into an independent trainer for both in-house and on-site sessions.
  • Database Maintenance: Manage and update FAQs and technical support entries to aid customers and distributors.
  • R&D and Product Development: Participate in testing and provide insights and feedback on new and existing products.

  • Experience in technical support or as a lighting technician in the Entertainment / Film / Event industry.
  • Strong communication skills in English and German
  • A proactive problem-solver with an eagerness to learn technical details quickly
  • Organized, with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn specialized software
