As the insurance partner of Toyota, the largest automobile manufacturers in the world, we develop and distribute outstanding insurance and financial services products for brands such as Toyota and Lexus, as well as specialized products for our car dealership organization.
In order to strengthen our Finance & Actuarial team, located in Ismaning, we are looking for you as a self-driven individual at our offices in Ismaning, Germany for the role of Senior Actuary Non-Life (m/f/d).
- As part of the team, you are responsible for consistent valuation of claims provisions in local Gaap, IFRS and Solvency II in close collaboration with branches.
- You assist our Chief Actuary in providing actuarial advice and pricing insights to the CFO, Board and Branches.
- You give advice on Solvency II topics across the organisation.
- You support Risk Management, ORSA-process, and Planning/FP&A.
- You give guidance regarding reinsurance, pricing and underwriting across the organisation.
- University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field with strong quantitative focus
- Qualification by an actuarial body recognized in the EU.
- Experience in actuarial reserving (ideally motor), data-oriented tasks, regulatory reporting under Solvency II or similar.
- Competent MS Excel user, strong skills to work with databases (SQL, Access) and programming and Experience with actuarial software (preferably ResQ)
- Good team skills, the ability to work collaboratively with fellow colleagues across Europe.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and ideally German, and the ability to move confidently in an international environment.
