IGT Asset Sourcing Manager (all genders)

Code – MBAP
- Definition and concept development for a strategic asset sourcing for LM2500 / LM6000 engines to secure MTU-BB output goals.
- Continuous market monitoring to acquire, evaluate, and track LM gas turbine module assets and market.
- Close coordination with the departments of Asset Management, Controlling, Strategic Procurement LM, and Operational & Strategic Material Planning to extrapolate specific output requirements.
- Implementation of the concept in the field of LM gas turbines, independent and continuous improvement, and active optimization of processes in the work area; coordination of process improvements with interface departments.
- Close collaboration with IGT Procurement (new and used material) to create alternative solutions in the market with technical or used material asset solutions in case of OEM fleet parts shortages.
- External market orientation to observe and identify potentials together with Sales, CAM, Field Service, and Package.
- Coordination with MTU LM Sales Force, CAM, Field Service, and Package Team.
- Establishing LM networking with traders, customers, operators, lessors, OEM approved service providers, OEMs, and MTU service centers.
- Attending gas turbine forums, trade fairs, and shows.
- Commercial evaluation in business cases of engines, modules, and parts with Controlling and interface departments.
- Technical evaluation of engines and modules with the Engineering and Field Service teams, including initiating, supervising, and ensuring BSI inspections.
- Creation of presentations, calculation of business cases, and conducting MTU internal buy-offs at executive and board level, as well as using project management to track their implementation.
- Further support of local strategic procurement at the MTU-BB site.
- Ideally, extensive experience and practice in the industrial gas turbine sector or engine sector, including engine lease or trading business.
- Proven experience in working in multi-functional, international teams within holding structures.
- Experience in negotiation and dealing with international cultures.
- Demonstrated outstanding communication and networking skills.
- High resilience, accustomed to working with senior management level or receiving high management attention.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional foreign languages desirable (including French or Spanish).
- High willingness to travel worldwide, approximately 30 to 50 %.
