Job Description

cmmrcl.ly is a rapidly growing start-up and equal opportunity employer in the social media / social commerce space with offices in Hamburg, Vienna and Zurich. We drive the branding, engagement and commerce agenda of our clients across all relevant social media platforms (e.g. YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) and help them leverage the latest trends and opportunities. Our inhouse developed tech stack and data partnerships help drive the best results for clients across a multitude of industries.


You are a self-starter working on the front line and driving our growth agenda with media agencies and advertisers in Austria and Switzerland. You'll develop agency and brand relationships and help them drive better campaign outcomes with our media products and solutions. You'll leverage your entire sales and business development toolbox to drive results - from conducting market and contact research, to driving sales outreach and lead generation with our sales support team, to building and nurturing relationships with brands and agencies, to the creation and delivery of pitch presentations and campaign concepts and offers.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2-5 years of experience working in a sales or business development role in paid media / advertising
  • Existing network and relationships with decision makers - both with media agencies and advertisers
  • Ability to convince others and a proven track record of success in sales and/or partner management
  • Analytical mindset and problem solving skills
  • Ability to drive business growth, meet business objectives, and act as a key spokesperson
  • Ability to speak German (native) and English (professional)
