As a Sales Manager Industry, you will use your sales expertise and technical know-how to build relationships with clients, providing tailored solutions that make a real impact. Your focus will be on industries such as chemical manufacturing, food production, and onshore sectors, where you will be a trusted advisor and partner. You will report to Sales Director based in Denmark.
Your responsibilities:
- Deliver needs-based, expert advice while meeting sales targets.
- Handle contract negotiations, acquire new clients, and foster long-term relationships.
- Expand the customer base through market insights and feedback.
- Collaborate with Customer Service to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
- Manage CRM-supported activities, monitor KPIs, and oversee budget responsibilities within your region.
- A commercial/technical degree or vocational training with a focus on sales.
- 5-10 years of industry experience, particularly in sectors like pumps, valves, or piping, with expertise in Pharma, Chemical, Cold Storage, or Food Production.
- Technical proficiency with the ability to interpret complex technical drawings.
- A confident, persuasive demeanor with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel 60-80% within your assigned region.
- Fluent in English (company language) and German.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
