What you can expect from us

E.ON's Finance function is the Group's commercial conscience: We enable the business to exploit opportunities, ensure reliability in relationships with external customers, stand for financial integrity and represent E.ON's shareholders. Being located at the heart of internal and external stakeholders, we play a vital role in decision-making, providing direction and ultimately driving sustainable value.

  • During the program, you'll have the chance to work in different functional placements mainly across core Finance departments (e.g. Controlling, Accounting, Group Finance, M&A, Investor Relations, Tax)
  • Besides, you'll complete at least one cross-functional and one international placement
  • Moreover, we offer you the opportunity to gain global insights into E.ON's business with a focus on topics like strategy and capital markets across Europe (e.g. Germany, Sweden, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Romania, Croatia, United Kingdom)

What we expect from you

  • You have an above average Bachelor's degree in business administration specialising in finance, auditing, tax or controlling with at least 2 years of relevant working experience or a respective Master's degree
  • Enthusiasm for financial topics in a modern and fast-paced environment with a strong capital market focus characterizes you
  • You are fluent in English and willing to learn German
  • Ideally you have gained international experience staying abroad in the form of exchange semesters, internships, or volunteer work
  • Your initial experience with the application of digital technologies in a financial environment would be ideal
  • You can contribute with the ability to build meaningful relationships with relevant interfaces and strong networking skills
  • Strong solution- and customer-oriented thinking with excellent logical skills are what we are looking for to develop even further with you

An already existing residence and work permit for Germany are not necessarily required.
