Job Description
My clients mission is to contribute to reduce the global greenhouse gases by providing solutions for the production of green hydrogen. My client is stepping into the electrolysis market now and growing a new business segment for the company over the next years!
- Concept designing for power distribution and rectifier systems at plant level
- Researching and evaluating of potential partners and suppliers
- Defining and creating of electrical studies (e.g. short circuit, harmonic, arc flash protection and coordination, grounding)
- Establishing and managing electrical design standards
- Electric system cost and design advisory within sales and execution projects
- Preparing electrical basic design documents
- Creating and evaluating inquires for the procurement process
- Degree level qualification in an engineering discipline
- Minimum five years of experience in designing and implementing industrial medium and low voltage power systems
- Proven experience with industrial rectifier systems and/or high voltage (HV) systems is a plus
- Ability to consult and negotiate with customers and suppliers to prepare robust specifications, explain proposals in an engaging manner and present results in clear and factual engineering reports
- Experience to perform acceptance tests and to supervise the installation and commissioning during start-up
- Knowledge about European electrical standards. North American standards will be a plus
- Experience in the preparation and evaluation of short-circuit and harmonic studies is an advantage.
- Strong communication, analytical and planning skills
- Solution/team/customer oriented with the confidence to act pro-actively
- Fluent in English. Another European language is an advantage
- Willingness to travel for at least 5 days per month
