  • defining the software architecture and developing the next generations of lithography systems, driving the progress in the semiconductor industry

  • finding the best solutions for embedded systems considering limitations such as system, hardware and performance requirements

  • analysing system requirements, agreeing on technical requirements and proposing and deciding options with the team

  • defining the stack and critical interfaces

  • communicating with internal and external stakeholders like software developers, PO's and electronics teams


  • M.Sc. Software or Electronics Engineering, Control Systems, Mathematics, Physics or similar

  • you have proven experience as software architect with a stack design in professional software development

  • you have an excellent understanding of systems in real-time applications like fast embedded control systems

  • you can enable the development of an optimum solution in performance with the team

  • you can communicate clearly, precisely and with empathy and have a passion to successfully solve complex challenges independently and in a team

  • good English and optionally German language
