TRAINEE IT INTERNATIONAL IN IT GROUP FUNCTIONS (M/F/X)

Global Business Services (GBS) bundles the Group's shared services and supports the strategic key initiatives of Deutsche Post DHL Group and each division worldwide. The aims are to reduce costs, to increase efficiency through scale, and to boost service quality. Our role at IT Group Functions (IT GF) is to address the information and technology needs of the Corporate Center (VV, V5 and V6), the Global Business Service Lines and Customer Solution & Innovation to make them successful in their digital transformations. We maximize the value for our Business Partners by delivering transformational programs, IT applications and IT architecture that are integrated, innovative and cost-efficient. We address the critical topics of information security (incl. SaaS security), data protection and compliance to protect DHL Group from harm. We pride ourselves that our employees are professionally capable, diverse and socially responsible.
Our department Architecture, Automation & Performance consists of IT architects, developers as well as business analysts that support our stakeholders by offering guidance as the IT architecture governance body, providing development expertise for complex automation solutions as well as monitoring our organization's performance and facilitating decision-making through thorough analyses. We interact and collaborate with all other IT Group Functions units daily to deliver the strategic programs of our business partners while centrally driving our IT Group Functions initiatives.

Your tasks

  • Act as PMO responsible for covering project aspects in different areas of Group Functions
  • Driving IT Group Functions initiatives centrally, interacting with internal customers and other business partners
  • Coordinating different activities and programs in the Architecture working group
  • Creation of analyses and other materials to facilitate decision-making on executive level
  • Project monitoring & reporting
  • Learning about innovative technologies such MS Power, M365 or Sharepoint

Your profile

  • Minimum Bachelor in (business) informatics, data science, operations or economics before April 1st, 2025
  • First professional experiences (up to 3 years) in work organizations e.g., NGO, Start-ups, large enterprises
  • Fluent English skills, German is nice to have
  • Analytical skills – ability to derive key trends from large data sets
  • Self-motivated team player with can do attitude
  • Very good communication skills and a creative head with sense of humor and empathy
  • High level of organizational skills and own-initiative
