TRAINEE CORPORATE FUNCTIONS INTERNATIONAL IN GROUP CHIEF INFORMATION SECURITY OFFICE (M/F/X)

Cyber-attacks are on the rise - not only in frequency but also in terms of cost. A single cyber-attack can drain a company's financial resources, ruin its reputation, or even destroy the entire company within minutes. The mission of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) as part of the Corporate Center is to protect the DHL Group from such threats and to strengthen the Group's cyber security activities. It focuses on strategic and tactical aspects of security that are relevant to the Group as a whole. The Awareness, Skills & Analytics team is responsible for raising cybersecurity awareness throughout the Group – for example through training courses, tools and games, as well as many other measures including appropriate communication, including with external parties, too. In addition to awareness and communication, the team also drives transparency by managing the Integrated Security Reporting platform (ISR) for KPI-based cybersecurity reporting and develops concepts to attract cyber security specialists for a career within the Group.

Your tasks

  • Further development of the Group-wide Cyber Security Framework and other guidelines
  • Promote cyber security awareness through communication and training measures
  • Design of security strategies and roadmaps based on recognized enterprise architecture practices and current technical developments

Your profile

  • Minimum Bachelor Graduation before April 1st, 2025, in Computer Science, Natural Science, Engineering, Cyber Security
  • first professional experience (up to 3 years) in cyber security/information security/data protection
  • knowledge of the cross-divisional structure of the Group, e.g., through previous internships; practical experience in the cyber security area of another company; fluent/very good English skills, fluent/very good German skills
  • very good knowledge of MS Office/0365; knowledge of application security and IT security management
  • knowledge in the areas of application security, penetration testing and computer forensics is an advantage
  • high level of creativity, strong analytical and conceptual skills, very good communication and presentation skills, strong teamwork skills and good relationship management skills
  • recognized cyber security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA etc. are very welcome, as well as practical experience as a pen tester, integration tester, developer etc.
