To deliver a solid lease agenda and retail expansion for Retail Europe. Management brick & mortar leasing portfolio, scouting locations, negotiation of T&Cs, legal review of new leases supporting Retail Europe asset management. Market travel, network with landlords and local brokers, to select the best retail opportunities to the Brand. Manage the internal Board Approval process and it's documents supporting PEG's expansion strategy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Stablished knowledge and network in Europe to select, negotiate, and propose locations to the Brand.
  • Contract management: management of retail lease agreements.
  • Negotiation of financial terms (HOT) and new lease agreements following line manager's guidance.
  • Manage lease agreement reviews and negotiate clauses with legal counsel.
  • Maintenance of existing lease agreements, ensuring that renewal/ termination process is followed correctly and in a timely manner; as well as that the rights and obligations in the leases are respected.
  • Interface between landlord/external agent and Store Development Project Managers.
  • Prepare, manage and follow up on internal Board Approval processes.
  • Perform market visits and research. Prepare presentations to Retail Management for retail expansion strategy.
  • Creates leasing processes and standardize them across the region.
  • Work closely with Real Estate agents, HQ countries, Retail Europe departments, legal and treasury department(s) and field team in regard to real estate topics.
  • Onboard and training of Leasing Interns.
  • Provide stakeholders reports & lease agenda, keeping it fresh with the latest updates.
  • Updates and maintains leasing related information in various databases.
  • Other tasks may be assigned to you in the course of your employment.

  • 10+ years professional experience in retail real estate, or in cross-border retail brokerage agency, preferably in Europe.
  • Bachelor degree in Real Estate, Finance, Law or International Business.
  • Proficient in commercial real estate agreements - scouting, negotiation and lease reviews.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated, problem solving attitude, and organized.
  • Excellent communication skills (fluent in English) and strong negotiation skills (any additional European language is a plus).
  • Flexibility to travel within the market on a frequent basis.
