As a key part of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to a collaborative research project, with Carbon Minds responsible for the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). This one-year project offers a unique chance to immerse yourself in an innovative initiative within the field, gaining hands-on experience in project management and public project exposure. You will also have opportunities to participate in project meetings and deepen your LCA expertise.

Start Date: As soon as possible


  • Research in the field of alternative technologies and raw materials.
  • Analysis and creation of mass and energy balances for chemical processes.
  • Modeling LCA results.
  • Visualization of modeling results and creation of PowerPoint slides.
  • Short descriptions of all calculations and work steps.

  • Enrolled student in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Interest and motivation in alternative solutions for the chemical value chain and their advantages and disadvantages.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is desirable.
  • Fluent in German.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Long-term collaboration (minimum 1 year availability).
