Join our forward-thinking controlling team as Budget Controller, where you will play a crucial role in managing the head office budgets. Please note that this is a temporary position for up to two years.
- Collaborating with department managers and senior executives to develop annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Monitoring and tracking actual expenses against budgeted amounts, identifying, and investigating significant variances, and providing regular reports to management.
- Implementing cost control measures and identifying opportunities for cost-saving initiatives without compromising operational efficiency or quality
- Ensuring compliance with budgetary policies and procedures, reviewing, and approving budget requests, and providing guidance to stakeholders on budget-related matters.
- Collaborating with department heads, project managers, and finance teams to gather budget-related information, facilitate discussions, and address any budget-related issues or concerns.
- Utilizing financial systems and tools to streamline the budgeting process, enhance accuracy, and improve efficiency in budget preparation, monitoring, and reporting.
- Identifying opportunities to improve budgeting processes, systems, and reporting methodologies, implementing best practices, and driving efficiency
- Monitoring and managing financial transactions between headquarters and other entities, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with intercompany policies and procedures
- University degree in Business Administration or Economics or equivalent experience
- min. 3 years' experience in controlling, finance or accounting
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual abilities.
- Team-oriented, high level of self-confidence, demonstrating initiative and assertiveness.
- Extensive knowledge of modern business methods for financial evaluation.
- International Experience (working and/or studying)
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Technical skills: SAP, MS O365, Power-BI or similar data analysis/visualization tools.
