Account Executive (m/w/d) Event Coordinator
Jr. Account Executive is working in a project team and supporting the planning and managing of the project(s) they are assigned in both office and onsite. He/she is being supervised by the project head/ manager and guides Jr. Account Executive, apprentice and interns. He/she can handle departments independently and be involved in client communication within the project preparation. This person is expected to have experience in the marketing or event sector and with managing small projects self-organized.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Lead departments and take care about research, request, proposal preparation and implementation (including onsite operation) and supervise other small departments
- Handle vendor contact including offer negotiation
- Execute project plan and periodical track and report on progress
- Creation of PPT proposals and operation manuals
- Attend project meetings (kick-off, event, check-in, report out, project updates)
- Steady report to the project manager about project updates
TEAMWORK & QUALITY MANAGEMENT
- Balance personal workload and tasks and supports team members with workload management
- Assure that the supervised team members understand their roles and accept their responsibilities
- Suggest improvement ideas and alternative solutions within the project
BUDGETING
- Be partly involved in budget creation or take over department budgeting
INTERNAL TASKS
- Work on internal projects and support Special Units as well as Administration
- Encourage team spirit
- Involve first functional expertise from design and production team and cooperate with design & production team
TEAMWORK
- Understand group dynamics behaviour and supports team spirit
- Guide newbies and less experienced team members
CLIENT MANAGEMENT
- Speak with authority and confidence
- Establish trust with the client and partners through demonstrated performance and maintains positive, productive and ethical relationships
