We are looking for an Intern (m/f/d) Finance Business Partner for a period of 4 to 6 months at our headquarters in Mannheim.
- Work on reporting, controlling and accounting related tasks in the complete lifecycle of a contractual relationship.
- Maintain and develop performance management reports in commercial areas.
- Issue invoices and credit notes based on reports.
- Execute on period of account closings activities.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis to answer key business questions.
- Work closely with the business contacts to ensure provision and appropriate analysis of relevant financial information.
- Produce presentations related to internal and external meetings.
- Align with relevant internal stakeholders in scope of main administrative processes
- Academic background with minimal requirement for B.Sc. in business administration, economics or related field with major in accounting, controlling or finance.
- Experience of working to tight deadlines in a high pressure environment while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, incorporating written, verbal, presentation and reporting at all levels
- Dynamic personality who is a good relationship builder, able to challenge and support colleagues from different functions in a constructive and effective manner.
- Able to prioritise complex projects and self-motivate, whilst working to strict deadlines and targets.
- Strong business knowledge and commercial acumen.
- Forward thinking with attention to detail.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
- Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) is an advantage.
- Experience in working with databases and programming (SQL, R, and Python) is an advantage.
- Financial Systems knowledge and experience, preferably SAP FICO is an advantage.
