About the department:

The Marketing Department within BYD Germany office is responsible for developing and implementing tailored marketing strategies specific to drive the performance and deliver results that drive business objectives in Germany. Our team works collaboratively to optimize brand visibility, increase market share, and drive business growth within the European market.


Key objectives and responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement digital programmatic plans and campaigns for Germany marketing team
  • Optimize and report on all campaigns – sharing results with wider team
  • Work with creative team to ensure best practice creative is used
  • Assist with quarterly and annual planning of marketing budgets

Key results:

  • Web traffic and leads driven by media campaigns
  • Increasing engagement and performance of ATL Paid media campaigns
  • Improving brand awareness and image of BYD in Germany
  • Increasing sales of BYD vehicles in Germany

This role will be focused on leading the planning and delivery Above the Line campaigns for BYD Germany Office. The ATL specialist will deliver on strategy, planning and delivery of TV, Radio and OOH campaigns, including optimization and leading on trading. The role will include planning campaigns, delivering media plans, strategic recommendations and identifying innovation opportunities. The paid media team is responsible for both Brand, Performance and Tactical campaigns.
Your profile:

  1. University Degree in Marketing, Sales, or commercial disciplines
  2. Proficient in German at a mandatory level and effective in English communication
  3. Excellent Microsoft office skills
  4. 5 years' experience in buying ATL media campaigns
  5. Understanding of media market and key media owners
  6. Knowledge of current ATL landscape and contacts withing TV, OOH and Radio industry
  7. Customer-oriented mindset
  8. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  9. Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills
  10. Resilient and open minded
  11. Results oriented. Ability to work to deadlines, hands on approach, motivated to get results
