As part of our unit Business Reporting you take over the position as Junior Controller within our Transfer Pricing Teams.

  • Following compliance with legal requirements and tax regulations, in line with internationally recognized frameworks and BASF guidelines, you calculate and adjust Transfer Prices.
  • You are responsible for a particular business segment, analysing and commenting on various financial statements including P&Ls, calculating company level margins, taking care of ad hoc requests, and performing regular quality controls.
  • As a point of contact for business, you are in dialogue with various stakeholders involved in Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, as well as Controlling and will act as a mediator and a solution provider on the first escalation level.
  • You play a key role in further developing, optimizing, and automating Intercompany Transfer Pricing related knowledge and processes and support your colleagues and the Global Tax department during audits.
  • Last but not least, you have the opportunity to grow in an organization that is focused on investing in digital development.

  • degree in Business Administration or Business Informatics with a focus on Accounting/Finance or Controlling
  • background in tax related topics and a first professional experience is a plus
  • strong understanding of financial statements including profit and loss statements
  • familiarity with analyzing the development of financial KPIs
  • strong command of MS Office Excel is a must, initial experience in the SAP environment (SAP R/3 or S/4HANA) or Business Warehouse systems is welcome
  • good communication skills in English, knowledge of other language is an advantage
  • openness to learn different technology applications (e. g. VBA, Power BI or UiPath)
