For the leadership and further expansion of the well-established subsidiary in Japan our client is looking for you in the Yokohama region as a Managing Director (m/f/d) Japan Tasks Full p&l responsibility for all sales, marketing, and service activities in Japan Managing, coaching, and motivating the local teams Further optimizing and professionalizing of processes and organization Developing and implementing a sales strategy in adaption to local customer needs to increase market share and turnover Expanding non-automotive business as well as driving automotive business Proactive management of key customers Direct reporting line to the headquarter in Central Europe Requirements University engineering degree Profound experience as sales leader with documented success Good knowhow in selling machinery solutions or mechanical components to the automotive sector and other industrial segments Entrepreneurial and proactive sales-personality with conceptual strength and technical understanding Fluent in Japanese and good communication skills in Englisch Trustworthy person living in the greater Yokohama area Our client offers an attractive salary, scope for action, flat hierarchies, and short decision-making processes.
