British American Tobacco Central Europe (CE) Area has an exciting opportunity for a Talent Executive based in Hamburg, Germany


  • Enable the execution of annual Performance & Talent management cycle across 10 countries in cooperation with local HR teams; support the introduction and deployment of new Talent concepts and tools
  • Qualitative and quantitative analysis of insights from employee listening initiatives and HR data to continuously evolve Talent practises like forecasting, succession planning, organizational and individual development programmes
  • Coordinate and enhance Talent pipeline programmes in collaboration with key stakeholders in HR and beyond, in particular CE Area responsibility for BAT's flagship Global Graduate Programme – This includes:
    • Oversight and further development of the programme standards for CE in line with the global framework & area needs,
    • Lead for German Global graduate recruitment, supervision, and development (e.g. organisation of rotations, onboarding, field force and international assignments, trainings, consulting with Coaches and HRBPs on disciplinary and development interventions etc.)
    • Single point of contact for our Hamburg based Global Graduates and Coaches along the programme
  • Projects – Depending on experience and personal interest, there are opportunities to take over further responsibilities for (Area wide) deployment of initiatives in the space of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Organisational Effectiveness or other Talent projects

  • Analytical skills paired with capability to translate insights into tangible recommendations for people practices
  • Ability to successfully cooperate with a diverse range of colleagues across 10 markets, engage with local/area/global (cross)functional stakeholders to successfully land projects in the organization
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills (in German and English)
  • High level of personal integrity, independent working style and organizational skills
  • Relevant first experience in Human Resources incl. systems like Success Factors
  • Successfully completed commercial training or – preferably – relevant university degree
  • A team player, who is eager to continuously expand own knowledge, serve and grow within the HR function and evolve our ways of working
