Job Description

The GLS Group CISO team is responsible for information security and business continuity management worldwide. In your role you will report to the Senior Manager Security Governance and support him to drive business continuity within the GLS Group.


  • Responsible for the further development of the business continuity management system in the GLS Group
  • Drive the conception and implementation of BCM minimum requirements in accordance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIS2, CER, etc.) in the GLS Group
  • Support GLS subsidiaries for the implementation of BCM requirements and standards (BIA, BCP, etc.)
  • Support in the design and implementation of regular BCM training courses and exercises for GLS subsidiaries
  • Responsible for the development, coordination, collection and review of KPIs and the regular reporting of the BCM maturity level
  • In the course of emergency/crisis management, Support the crisis team (documentation, processes, briefings, systems) and, if necessary, assist with operational staff work

  • Completed studies in computer science, security management, business administration or business informatics or a comparable qualification/comparable professional work experience
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Methodological and practical knowledge of common standards in BCM (e.g., ISO 22301, BSI100-4)
  • Relevant certifications such as CBCI, CBCP, CBCM are an advantage
  • Knowledge in information security is an advantage
  • Motivation to constantly improve processes and methodologies
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented – capable of leading and completing assignments without supervision
  • Advanced language proficiency in English. Other languages are a plus
