Accountable for Bioprocess global Operations and intra supply chain management in alignment with market demands
Accountable for the development and implementation of Bioprocess global manufacturing strategy in alignment with Bioprocess business strategy and market needs
Budgetary, disciplinary and IT System (MES) responsibility for the global operations
Responsibility over the Bioprocess manufacturing currently located in three sites including the staff
Development and implementation of the future manufacturing strategy for Bioprocess to support future business growth, regional customer needs and anticipate market trends.
Development and establishment of operating policies and procedures, to ensure operations organisation meet their production and quality targets
Responsible for operations output and ensure the achievement of overall Bioprocess business targets
Responsible for managing incoming raw material supply chain and supplier management
Active training, development and retention of staff
Up to 40% travel to provide leadership to and have managerial oversight of different Bioprocess operation locations.
Experience with running manufacturing operations in industries that serve the pharmaceutical/biotech market
Outstanding and concise verbal and written communication in German and English
Knowledge of regulations in the pharmaceutical/biotech market; ISO 9001 needed, ISO 13485 & GMP experience highly preferred
Proven leadership track record, innovative mindset
Master or Bachelor degree in scientific/technical area preferred
Proven experience in managing multi-sites operations including relevant interfaces (Procurement, Global Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Administration etc.)
Strong Life Science or Bioprocess industry and market knowledge
Accomplished leader and ability to develop and implement business opportunities and new approaches in a change process
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to network effectively and establish good working relationships
Results driven, good analytical capabilities Willingness to travel and ability to understand and work in culturally different markets
