- You identify new business opportunities in liquid handling automation in strong collaboration with the Innovation Management Team and the Head of BU Automation.
- You develop an 'Instrument Portfolio' by deeply understanding customer insights, market trends, and customer experiences in life sciences applications and processes.
- You convert ideas into product solution concepts based on relevant customer insights, prioritize them, and successfully implement the innovation funnel and portfolio roadmap in the context of our hardware, consumables, software, and services.
- You take charge of the business responsibility for the product and solution portfolio, including the business models to be used.
- You prepare user requirements and product specification documents, ensuring timely dissemination of new product information.
- You plan and coordinate the successful market launch and revenue generation of new products in close collaboration with the product management team.
- You hold a degree in natural sciences or engineering and have profit & loss acumen.
- You have professional experience in business and innovation management, preferably in an international life science application-focused environment.
- You possess a good overview of the competition, service offerings, business models, and customer segments, along with extensive management experience in leading project teams.
- You demonstrate an agile mindset, the ability to think in terms of Minimal Viable (Saleable) Products, and a comprehensively thought-out approach.
- You excel in presentation and communication skills both internally and externally.
- You see yourself as a team player with leadership skills, strong networking competencies, and cultural sensitivity.
- You have fluent English skills in both spoken and written form; German skills are considered advantageous.
