The position will be based in our Clarios EMEA headquarters office in Hannover, Germany. Your contribution: What you will do

As HR Manager Central Functions (m/f/d) you drive daily HR activities across assigned location covering multiple HR areas and develop local policies, while ensuring alignment with standard practices and procedures. In this position you support the development of strategies to enhance organization, team, and individual performance. You serve as a business partner, delivering integrated HR services including organization design, talent management, employee effectiveness, diversity and inclusion and change management. As HR Manager Central Functions (m/w/d) you lead operational Fleet Management processes in EMEA, coordinate labor relations tasks in Germany and manage labor relation topics in the EMEA region.

Your responsibilities: How you will do it

  • Provide expertise in leadership and team development, organization effectiveness, and meeting facilitation.
  • Partner with management to execute talent management processes and develop action plans to mitigate risks and improve successor readiness.
  • Manage multiple projects, serving as the main contact for Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Development.
  • Actively driving process improvements using continuous improvement methodology.
  • Actively contributing to the improvement of regional employee communication in line with the communication strategy.
  • Ensure SOX and local law compliance and support audits.
  • Deliver training as per BU and company requirements.
  • Partner and negotiate with works council representatives and execute regional labor relation strategy.
  • Resolve legal cases in collaboration with local HR partners or external counsels.
  • Coordinate labor relations tasks in Germany, ensuring compliance with local laws and provide guidance on labor relations matters, including collective bargaining and union negotiations.
  • Manage labor relations topics in the EMEA region in strong cooperation with HR leaders and legal counsels and develop solutions to manage and resolve labor disputes and employee relations issues.
  • Monitor labor relations trends and provide insights to senior management.
  • Foster positive relationships with employee representatives and unions.

Your knowledge, skills, and abilities: What we look for

  • University degree in Business Management, Business Administration or Human Resources required, university degree in Business Law preferred
  • Profound work experience in Human Resources, including employee relations
  • In-depth understanding of local and regional labor laws and regulations, particularly in Germany and the EMEA region
  • Solid knowledge of German (European) Employment Law, Social Security Regulations and Payroll related matters
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills and experience in working with unions and employee representatives
  • Experience in collaborating within a global matrix organization
  • Solid Leadership experience
  • Experience with Headcount Planning, Budget Planning and other HR related reports
  • Demonstrated ability to influence business partners at multiple levels within a diverse organization and confident presenting and leading employee development sessions
  • Ability to track record of pro-active process improvements and/or solutions-oriented conflict resolution
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in German and English
