Vattenfall is now looking for the right person to fill the position as Process Specialist (O2C) reporting to the Head of Subledger Central Services in Finance Business Support.

You will become a member of the international Subledger Central Services team that focuses on securing Service Delivery and optimizing processes. The Central Services team manages outsourced activities and contributes to group-wide projects and improvements from a process and system perspective. Beside the functional management of outsourced activities, the Central Services team as part of the retained organization will contribute to and manage group wide and interdisciplinary projects, changes and improvements from process and system perspective. In addition the Subledger relevant part of the internal & external control framework will be managed by the Central Services team. You will become a key contributor, ensuring that our O2C processes in Vattenfall is developing according to Vattenfall´s needs.

Your main tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Drive automation, digitalization and best in class processes and tools within the O2C area
  • Drive improvements in process, solution design and quality
  • Contribute to the O2C strategy for processes and systems
  • Maintain common processes, policies and guidelines
  • Contribute to good relationships and good service towards internal customers and external suppliers / customers / BPO provider

We are looking for a Process Specialist (O2C) who has a relevant University degree or similar (e.g. in Business administration, process engineer), 3-5 years of experience within Finance operations in a Shared Service organization. Your command of German AND English is strong, both verbally and written.

Next to this you bring:

  • A profound understanding and passion for automation and innovation like AI tools, Power Automate, Scripting, Power BI, Robotics etc.
  • Proven track of analytical knowledge
  • In depth and detailed understanding of order to cash process
  • Extensive functional and technical expertise in the O2C area
  • Cultural sensitivity and significant experience of working in a global environment
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Problem solving and modeling skills with ability to synthesize and analyze data to create useful information and concise analysis
  • Ability to work autonomously, to meet tight deadlines, and to thrive in a fast-paced environment under pressure
  • Organized, proactive and results oriented
