YOUR TASKS

  • Conduct product and component market analysis to benchmark competitiveness and cost breakdown
  • Lead new product development Sourcing programs
    • Understand business requirements and key component cost drivers to set feasible cost targets
    • Build and track supply chain development plans to develop, qualify, start production and ramp up component sourcing
  • Lead current product sourcing improvement programs
    • Identify design or specification changes leading to cost reduction opportunities
    • Set targets and project plans to deploy such cost reduction opportunities
  • Monitor and report Value Engineering programs
    • Build comprehensive analysis and reports to keep Global Sourcing management up to date with: Product benchmark, Product new development program and Product improvement programs
  • Implement and develop a Design-to-Cost methodology
    • Interface Engineering, Sourcing and Operation stakeholders to identify product key cost drivers
    • Build a structured process to ensure design and specification adherence to defined product key cost drivers

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor's degree in economics/engineering
  • 5 years in procurement/strategy in the wind industry
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written)
  • Required proficiency in data management and Microsoft office Excel
  • Project Manager with technical/commercial skills and leadership potential
  • Good personal and communication skills and Organizational savvy
