Occupant simulation/restraint system analysis within the passive safety division is responsible for the numerical/virtual design of occupant protection for all global legal and rating requirements in frontal and side impacts. This includes the functional design and vehicle-specific tuning of the restraint systems (airbag and belts) as well as the occupant safety relevant design of the Interior components.
You will face these challenges:
- Documentation and research of current image processing methods with computer vision in Python/OpenCV
- Analysis of images and films with the help of suitable algorithms
- Extension of existing Python scripts
- Computer science or comparable degrees
- Programming skills in Python
- Experience with OpenCV and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) in Python
- Analytical mindset and strategic way of working
- Commitment and ability to work in a team
- Confident knowledge of english and german, both writen and spoken
