JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Quality Director Europe (m/f/d) - remote to join our growing team.

Role Overview:
The Quality Director, Europe will lead quality strategy and execution across European operations. This role ensures compliance with quality standards, drives continuous improvement, and fosters a quality-focused culture across all functions. The role involves managing a team of 5 direct reports and overseeing a dotted-line team of 30+.

The position can be filled in Germany, Austria, Denmark or in any other European country where JELD-WEN has a location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic quality plan in line with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement in quality metrics, reducing non-quality costs.
  • Lead quality audits and inspections, delivering actionable outcomes.
  • Promote a quality culture across the organization, engaging all teams.
  • Analyze data to identify process improvements and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage customer quality requirements and develop quality assurance plans for new projects.
  • Mentor and develop team members to uphold quality standards.

  • 15+ years of experience in quality management within a large, global organization.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with experience driving process improvements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field (Master's or certifications preferred).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English; a second language is preferred.
