Primobius is the result of a joint venture between Australian stock exchange-listed Neometals Ltd. and privately owned German plant engineering and technology specialist SMS group GmbH. Primobius offers a unique and sustainable method of recovering valuable lithium, nickel, cobalt, and other materials, for example carbon, from end-of-life or defective lithium-ion batteries (LiBs) from electric vehicles and consumer electronics. The recovered battery materials can be used directly in the production of new batteries.
This unique and advanced recycling solution fits smoothly into the circular economy, ensures that ethically sound materials are used, and helps to reduce not only waste but also our world's dependence on finite resources.

Project Manager Execution (f/m/x)
You are responsible for sales support and order execution of projects in close collaboration with various departments. Your responsibilities include, among others:
- Sales support:
- Cooperate closely with sales organization, commercial contract manager and product manager to support with your experience of order execution
- Develop trusted relationship to customer and understand / consult as per his needs, with sales
- Compile offers and participate in negotiations, starting with the binding offering phase up and to final negotiation
- Establish strong cooperation with main designated subvendor / internal consortial partner for process equipment
- Insure that offer is continuously in line with technical feasibility as per customer's requirements, cost estimation, risk mitigation, general cooperate rules for envisaged profit
- Order execution:
- Act as the responsible project manager for the contract execution, in cooperation with commercial contract manager
- Ensure order execution as per contracted scope / change orders, in time and in budget, up to final acceptance and last payment.
- Ensure ongoing risk- and claim management with according communication to all stake holders
- Ensure “lessons learned” with feedback to complete organization
You have successfully completed an engineering degree in mechanical or process engineering. We value:
- The ability to quickly familiarize with the disciplines of your new field
- At least ten years of professional experience in order execution, preferable some years in sales
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure the project stays on track and within budget
- Understanding the intricacies of battery chemistry, recycling processes, and the equipment used in recycling plants
- Excellent analytical skills
- Familiarity with engineering principles and construction processes,
- An affinity to sales activities and the working environment of a start-up enterprise
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and manage diverse teams, as well as excellent communication abilities to coordinate between different departments, stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors
- Ability to implement quality control measures and continuously seeking ways to improve processes, efficiency, and output quality
- Experience in presentation techniques and the use of MS Office
- Good verbal and written communication skills (in German and English)
- High social competence and resilience, as well as a willingness to travel
