Finance Specialist (Tax & Accounting)
Working time: 40+ hours / week

Division: Finance
- Management and control of the quarterly and annual financial reporting processes in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP standards
- Overseeing local tax obligations and management of quarterly tax activities supported by the Financial Shared Service Center (FSSC)
- Calculation of current and deferred tax as well as preparation of local corporate income tax returns supported by external service provider
- Close cooperation with the Financial Shared Service Center (FSSC) regarding the processes related to Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payables (AP), and Record-to-Report (RtR)
- Coordination of the internal control framework (ICF) and execution of local accounting and tax controls
- Contact point for external auditors and service providers to support the day-to-day operations in Germany (tax and accounting firms)
- Overseeing the correct booking of transactions and documentation of transfer pricing activities
- Project support related to accounting and tax processes
- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance and/or a professional accountancy qualification from a recognized university
- Five years of experience in the field of financial accounting or auditing with profound local GAAP and tax knowledge
- Very good knowledge in SAP, SAP BW, and Microsoft Office; HFM knowledge is an advantage
- Fluency in German and English
- Proactive mindset and strong analytical skills with high attention to details
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships and gain credibility
