- Evaluate and underwrite global, cross line of business renewable energy risks (e.g. batteries, wind, solar)
- Analyse and assess risk exposures, coverage needs and loss history for renewable energy projects
- Collaborate with brokers, clients and internal stakeholders to develop tailored insurance solutions
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes
- Monitor and manage the performance of parts of the global renewable energy portfolio
- Support in building a cross line of business energy approach
- Provide technical expertise and support to underwriting teams globally, sharing best practices and knowledge
- Responsibility for projects and operative risks
- Preferably a Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent diplomas (e.g. in engineering or risk management)
- Extensive experience in renewable energy risks / technologies, preferably in an insurance environment
- Preferably international experience in prior roles and willingness for occasional travel
- Strong analytical skills to assess risk exposures, evaluate loss potential and be responsible for underwriting decisions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to collaborate with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset
- Willingness to work with and learn about other segments of the energy business
