RIMOWA has an exciting job offer for a Project Procurement Planner to join our Procurement Team. In joining us, you will play an important part of the Procurement activity and will have to deal with our suppliers as well as our internal stakeholders to ensure smooth production. If you have a strong team spirit and you are excited by problem solving, this job is perfect for you! 80% of this job would be related to Project Procurement and 20% would be category management (of an existing category) based on your profile/experience.

This full time position is initially planned on a fixed-term contract for 18 months and located at our head office in Cologne.


  • Early involvement with suppliers during the product development phase. Liaise with Development, Quality and Purchasing for ensuring the product launches on time
  • Negotiations with supplier on the quality, cost and delivery aspects
  • Developing the procurement strategy for the project related items based on the nature of the Project
  • Responsible for the complete Procure to-Pay cycle for the Project Scope including project planning, PO placing, invoice processing etc.
  • Ensuring adherence to the product launch timeline and develop risk mitigation plans
  • Obsolescence costs calculation and coordination with quality and production during the Project execution phase
  • Preparation and presenting the Project completion report with the internal stakeholders after every Project
  • Procurement planning and execution of specific category of raw materials - depending on your experience and profile

  • Bachelor's or Masters in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, business studies or equivalent
  • Experience of 3-4 years in planning/ project management/ procurement or similar roles
  • Strong Analytical skills and hands-on mentality
  • Fluent in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
  • Knowledge of ERP, Power BI is preferred
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Good time management skills, ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Fluent in German and English (min. B2 level)
