Workforce Planning / System Configuration

  • Ensuring timely initiation and management of workforce planning cycles across ZEISS Group

  • Provisioning, configuring and managing systems to meet evolving business needs

  • Setting up new users, supervisory organizations, versions and active directory administration

  • Assisting in short-term and long-term workforce plans aligned with organizational goals, including demand forecasting and scenario planning.

Performance Monitoring

  • Monitoring system health by key metrics to ensure that it runs smoothly, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights

  • Identifying ways to standardize and automate workforce processes for enhanced efficiency

  • Implementing quality control systems for data and reporting accuracy

Reporting & Insights

  • Building and customize regular and ad-hoc workforce planning scenarios, models, and dashboards per request

  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity across various HR systems and reporting tools

Collaboration & Training

  • Collaborating with HR and technology teams to maintain and improve HRIS systems

  • Supporting workforce planning and strategic initiatives through data-driven insights

  • Educating stakeholders on interpreting workforce data and metrics


  • Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, human resources, business administration, or a related field

  • 2+ years of building and configuring data models in Workday Adaptive Planning

  • Sound understanding of the principles of data collection, data processing, and data management

  • Ability to interpret charts, reports, and visualisations

  • Advanced proficiency in database management and security

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical reasoning abilities

  • Full proficiency in English, German would be a plus ​
