Leading managers, supervisors, employees and resources, you'll direct the implementation of tactical business plans, programs and projects, while also delivering solutions that drive continuous process improvement all to ensure delivery of the right product to the right place at the right price.


  • Responsible for leading Agilent's Regional European Logistics Center operation and a Factory Warehouse both in the greater Karlsruhe area in Germany - driving operational excellence, building a Great Place to Work with a Customer-First mind-set
  • Develop and implement best practices to drive efficiency, reduce cost, and improve distribution service
  • Support and implement digital transformation across the supply chain logistics organization by innovative, best-in-class technologies and/or processes
  • Collaborate effectively with business partners internally and externally (incl. carriers/forwarders) to apply the appropriate strategies to achieve delivery, quality and cost KPIs including Customer Required Delivery (CRDD) performance, Defect on Arrival goals (DEFOA), logistics cost as percentage over revenue improvement
  • Active leadership among peers to drive cross-functional improvements within Germany, Europe, Global Logistics and beyond
  • The location is Waldbronn, Germany.

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required
  • 4+ years' experience formally or informally leading people, projects and/or programs successfully
  • 8+ years of proven experience in leading logistics operations with demonstrated transformational leadership and strong analytical skills with sharp business acumen are critical
  • Profound knowledge of supply chain technology and preference for experience in digital technologies such as automated manufacturing, robotics, artificial intelligence/machine learning is helpful
  • Experience in driving significant process improvement efforts utilizing Lean and Six Sigma concepts and methodologies is necessary
  • Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems, along with strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills; strong interpersonal skills with a focus on details
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills using data to drive business decisions along with excellent communication skills with all levels
  • Practical compliance knowledge about Customs, Export, Tax and Dangerous Goods handling as the legal framework for Logistics are needed
  • Managing experience of 3rd Party Logistics Service Providers is part of your portfolio
  • Regulatory and quality requirements in Supply Chain like ISO9001, cGMP, ISO13485 and SOX as well as SAP ERP knowledge are desirable
