  • Coordinate the implementation of Olympus' compensation strategy between key HR and business stakeholders in the EMEA region and global headquarters
  • Monitor compensation and benefits trends and surveys and develop the compensation and benefits structure in the EMEA region accordingly
  • Maintain and develop the EMEA job architecture in collaboration with HR business partners and managers
  • Advise relevant stakeholders on compensation matters using key practices and tools to promote and support alignment with global and regional strategies and business needs while understanding and promoting local market conditions and practices
  • Work effectively with HR colleagues and business clients to advise and develop solutions on compensation and benefits topics
  • Ensure that compensation and benefits plans are fair, equitable and competitive, comply with applicable legislation and are aligned with the company's strategy and objectives
  • Prepare reports and recommendations based on research and analysis
  • Manage the salary increase and bonus processes in the EMEA region
  • Work with third party providers, e.g., salary benchmark providers and benefits providers

  • Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Engineering or Business Administration
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of compensation and benefits (knowledge of company pension schemes advantageous)
  • Knowledge in the field of job evaluation and benchmarking
  • Good knowledge of the principles and practices of remuneration and benefits systems and legislation in the EMEA region
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as strong analytical and quantitative skills and high level of conceptual thinking
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills and command of English, both written and spoken
  • Strong professional ethics and high degree of discretion
  • Mindset focused on data accuracy with the ability to see the big picture and make improvements
  • Hands-on mentality with high level of energy and professional skills to work effectively and independently in a demanding, fast-paced and change-oriented environment
