Our public address systems for general building technology are also widely used. To further expand and improve our product portfolio and make it future-proof, we are looking for you as a

Software developer (m/f/d) for VoIP communication systems,
optionally with team leader function


  • You will be involved in the development, conception and co-design of the latest generation of our public address and VoIP communication systems.
  • You will develop and integrate software components and interfaces in devices and servers.
  • You integrate embedded system software into our in-house developed hardware components.
  • You create and check requirements and specification documents in accordance with valid standards from the areas of public address, VoIP communication and IT-Security (e. g. EN-54-16, SIP, ITU, IEC62443 etc.).
  • (Optional as team leader) You design, model and implement software architectures for our public address and communication systems.
  • (Optional as team lead) You organize and lead a development team of 5-7 members in close exchange with the development management and the stakeholders.
  • (Optional as team leader) You will work on the design and organization of overarching development.

  • You have successfully completed a degree in computer science or technical computer science or have a comparable qualification.
  • You are confident in using the programming languages C++ and C.
  • Professional experience in software development is a plus.
  • We also value the following technical experience as a plus:
    • VoIP and SIP systems (e. g. asterisk), the associated communication stacks (e. g. pjsip) and the corresponding interfaces (e. g. AGI/AMI/ARI),
    • inter-process communication with MQTT or RabbitMQ,
    • declarative programming and its languages,
    • knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • You prefer to work systematically, in detail and independently.
  • You can contribute very well both in the agile development process and in combination with a V-Model.
  • You are confident in understanding standards and implementing them in products.
  • You are characterized by a high degree of team spirit and have a committed, reliable, self-reliant way of working.
  • You have a good understanding of systems and can think outside the box.
  • You enjoy solving technical challenges, innovation and breaking new ground.
  • You have a good command of English and optional German.
