1. Strategic Support:

  • Assist the Global Head in developing and implementing long-term supply chain strategies, support annual strategy development, planning process and communication
  • Support the execution of strategic initiatives and transformation programs
  • Structure complex and unstructured issues and problem statements, involve necessary stakeholder and business owner, coordinate solution-finding processes and execution of problem-solving
  • Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional meetings and workshops to drive alignment and decision-making


2. Leadership Support:

  • Coordinate the global SC Leadership Team on behalf of the Global Head, coordinate and manage activities across the team and among the leaders
  • Ensure adherence to and fulfilment of company processes, such as strategy and priority planning, budget planning and reporting and people and HR-related processes and activities
  • Proactively identify topics that need leaders' attention or action, work closely with the SC Leadership Team and in close collaboration with the Head of Supply Chain Strategy and Excellence


3. Project Management:

  • Manage and monitor key projects and initiatives to ensure timely execution and delivery
  • Develop project plans, timelines and milestones and track progress against them
  • Identify and address potential risks and issues, proposing solutions to keep projects on track


4. Communication and Coordination:

  • Serve as a liaison between the Global Head and other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Prepare reports, presentations and communications for internal and external stakeholders
  • Organize and coordinate executive meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking and follow-up on action items


5. Analytical Support:

  • Conduct research and analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Gather and analyze data on supply chain performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to present findings and recommendations


6. Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Support the Global Head in engaging with external partners, including suppliers, customers and industry organizations
  • Facilitate best practice sharing and collaboration across the global supply chain network


7. Administrative Duties:

  • Work in close collaboration with the Global Head's Executive Assistant to manage the calendar, schedule meetings and appointments and coordinate travel arrangements and logistics
  • Maintain an overview of current topics; be aware of routine and calendar events concerning the leader
  • Handle correspondence and communications on behalf of the Global Head

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Long-standing experience in supply chain management or a related role with strong understanding of supply chain processes and strategies, relevant supply chain frameworks, process management techniques and notation standards
  • Experience with MedTech-related industries and/or leading consulting companies preferred
  • Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with supply chain management software and tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to build trust and productive relationships
  • High level of discretion and professionalism with the ability to handle confidential information
  • Self-motivated, open minded and change affine with the ability to lead and empower cross-functional (virtual) teams
  • Willingness to travel as needed
