Your Role at ZEISS Digital Innovation
As Key Account Manager in our business line "Health Solutions", your main focus will be on identifying new opportunities to support our customer target group in creating digital solutions to improve people's health. From the beginning, you will ensure sustainable and strategic customer development and expansion in your assigned customer environment. In this case, you bear the overarching responsibility for activities at a customer and play a leading role in operational sales.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying new opportunities to shape the market with tailored digital solutions
- Being the main orchestrater of activities around your prospect or client, with a clear focus on customer success (this includes but is not limited to sales activities, presales, consulting and ongoing relationships)
- Developing and executing account plans, with a clear focus on key target accounts
- Build up a sustainable and robust pipeline, ensure accurate forecasting and account planning
- Drive customer success through strong understanding of their business and ability to strongly engage the ZEISS Digital Innovation value proposition within those customer communities
- Preparing and executing meetings and projects together with our teams and your customers
- Managing contract negotiations to closure
- Operating C-level approach

Your Profile
Are you a professional in building sustainable and strategic customer relationships and carefully observing current developments in your markets?
Do you love deriving sales approaches through conversations with your target clients, which you implement as a team?
Aren´t you afraid of approaching new clients with a market proven offering?

You will also need the following skills and experience:
- Experience in managing complex sales in enterprise accounts
- Experienced with an equivalent solution selling methodology
- Excellent communication and presentation skills on C1 or C2 Level in German and English
- Experience in initiating, managing, and closing complex sales cycles partnering with Marketing Pre-sales, Consulting Services, Legal and all other relevant stakeholders
- Experience in working with partners and stakeholders to enable them to maximize our customers success
- Knowledgeable in creating proposals with complex structures
- Being a self-starter and able to work independently
- Experience and understanding of the (Agile-) Software Developing market (on-premises or in the cloud)
- At least 5 years of successful sales experience with enterprise software
- Work experience in both an early stage and a large organization is an advantage
- Experience in selling to senior decision makers
- Industry knowledge in medical technology and / or pharmaceuticals desirable (e.g. ISO 13485, IEC 62304, TSAX, etc.), but not required
- Willingness to travel
