Your Tasks

  • As a member of our Tool Management Team in Hilden (near Düsseldorf) your main task is technical project management with focus on the creation of equipment specifications, procurement, implementation, and qualification of manufacturing equipment such as injection molding tools, blow molding tools, compression molding tools as well as automated packaging or assembly lines.
  • You collaborate closely with suppliers around the world and lead implementations of new equipment, changes of existing equipment's or relocation in accordance with the change process.
  • You communicate actively with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • You are responsible for documenting and maintaining equipment qualification in accordance with ISO 13485 and internal standards, as well as moderating and creating risk analyses for equipment and production processes within interdisciplinary teams.
  • You process complaints including root cause analyses, implementation of correction measure and support quality assurance and the testing departments with deviations and requests for special releases.

Your Profile

  • You have an engineering degree (M.Sc. or M.Eng.) in the field of mechanical engineering, plastics technology, or comparable training or alternatively a qualification as a technician with a corresponding specialization.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in tool management and/or plastics processing, preferably in a regulated environment.
  • Ideally, you are experienced in the construction specifics of molding tools and have already gained experience in the industrialization and production of integrated assemblies in the medical sector (clean room environment) and preferably have knowledge of using common CAD software (e.g. Solid Works).
  • Your quick comprehension and analytical way of thinking allow you to successfully coordinate the search for the best solution to optimize processes.
  • You are fluent in English and are combining your communicative skills with your passion for interdisciplinary and intercultural collaboration.
