As Business Unit Automotive & Speciality Lamps we support our vision and strategy by expanding our leading position in the automotive lighting market in OEM and Aftermarket. We are in a global leadership position in the automotive lamps business in traditional and LED applications and offer industry leading products in LED lighting to global OEM customers (e.g. with exchangeable LED light sources). We also tackle new growth opportunities in the Aftermarket with our automotive care and equipment portfolio.


  • Development of manufacturing processes for innovative products in the field of automotive LED modules for international use in automotive lighting from feasibility to series production
  • Focus on assembly and connection technology
  • Determination and implementation of improvement potential in the processes using statistical methods such as DoE, process capability analyses
  • Close cooperation with production, industrialization and quality management
  • Technology scouting to expand the process portfolio for new products

  • Successfully completed scientific or engineering degree (Master's, diploma), preferably in materials science, mechatronics, microsystems technology, chemistry or physics
  • Relevant professional experience in the field of process development
  • Very good technical understanding, skill in handling production equipment and analytical skills
  • Experience in handling and evaluating analysis procedures/methods is an advantage (e.g. REM/EDX, XPS, FTIR)
  • Independent and result-oriented way of working, flexibility and creative problem-solving as well as strong teamwork skills
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills as well as good communication skills in conveying complex issues
