Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG, with approximately 10,000 employees, specializes in financial and mobility services. The offerings range from financing, leasing, vehicle subscriptions and rentals, fleet management, digital services related to charging and payment, insurance brokerage, to innovative mobility services.
This year, Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG will continue to focus on the 5 strategic dimensions of MBM 2025, one of which is Electrify our future. On the path to "electric only," charging is a crucial factor. We want charging with Mercedes-Benz to become a unique customer experience. To build this holistic charging ecosystem as quickly as possible, we are establishing a new Charging Unit at MBM, consisting of three pillars: public charging, home charging, and business charging.
Our team is responsible for the public charging service Mercedes me Charge. This service offers seamless integration into the Mercedes-Benz ecosystem of vehicles and apps, enabling our customers to find charging stations, authenticate, pay digitally, and easily track charging processes.
During your internship, you will support the development and implementation of our innovative charging service and lead your own sub-projects. You will gain insights into product strategy, the conception of product features and user journeys, and close collaboration with research and development teams. This hands-on experience will allow you to understand the tasks and challenges of a product management team and expand your personal network. One of our most important requirements for you as an intern is the willingness to contribute and drive your own ideas. You will receive support and mentoring from an experienced team member.
In your role:
- You will contribute to the development of new features and functions around Mercedes me Charge, considering market specifics for Europe, North America, and Overseas
- You will closely cooperate with regional markets and key account managers, maintaining constant communication with them
- You will independently analyze global market trends in electromobility, evaluate competitors, and create benchmarks to identify strategic opportunities for Mercedes me Charge
- You will prepare strategic decision documents, data analyses, and top-management briefings
- You will moderate workshops and management meetings and support general team tasks
- You are an enrolled student in the fields of Business, Management and Engineering, Marketing, or similar courses.
- You have experience with digital products or services, preferably customer-facing.
- You are a personality who likes to take responsibility and approaches new challenges self-motivated.
- You are fluent in German and English.
- You are interested in the areas of charging, e-mobility, energy supply, and are passionate about the future of mobility.
