  • Define and design platform software architecture

  • Enable dedicated teams to achieve solid software component design and delivery

  • Anticipate embedded/ medical/ consumer trends to derive and refine a software architecture roadmap

  • Ensure the software architecture fulfills non-functional aspects like scalability, extendibility and flexibly, enabling better time-to-market

  • Working with various stakeholders on technical and management level


  • Master Studies in the area of Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics or similar area of knowledge

  • Excellent experience in same or similar role, having influence into several teams and/or subprojects within software development

  • Excellent understanding of embedded software, networking, cybersecurity, scalable software architectures and patterns introducing them into an organization

  • Proven experience and knowledge of architecting safety and non-safety areas, preferably under medical standards

  • Very good experience in objected oriented design, test driven development. Modeling under UML/SysML, broader used programming languages as Python, C and C++

  • Very good knowledge of strategy topics derived from software architectures (scalability, maintainability, extendibility, business impact and standardization)

  • Solution oriented person able to handle different levels of abstraction and detailed design, cross functional leadership among teams and an individual contributor if required

  • Excellent communication, technical leadership, coaching and moderation skills in English, German at least B1 Level
