The Solution Architect Data & Analytics with focus on Azure Synapse will design and implement advanced data solutions for the supply chain operations. The role emphasizes optimizing supply chain performance by architecting scalable, cloud-based data platforms that streamline inventory management, logistics, vendor relationships, and demand forecasting. The architect will work closely with supply chain teams to develop data-driven insights, ensuring efficient operations and seamless integration across the supply chain ecosystem.
- You will Lead architectural decision-making for the Supply Chain data platform, balancing technical and business needs regarding performance, cost, maintenance and user-friendliness
- Furthermore, you develop and optimize ETL pipelines to consolidate data from multiple sources, including ERP, warehouse management, and transport systems
- Hence, you oversee design and creation of dashboards and reports to monitor supply chain KPIs (inventory turnover, lead times, stock levels, etc.) using Azure Synapse and Power BI
- Plus, you implement data governance, security, and compliance standards tailored to supply chain data operations
- You provide extensive experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake and data warehousing principles
- You are proficient in SQL, data modeling, and cloud-based data architecture for complex supply chain ecosystems
- Strong data analysis skills for dashboarding and report design are part of your toolbox
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience in product ownership as well
- Finally, you bring strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with both technical and business stakeholders fluently in English and German
