Would you like to dive deeper into the fascinating world of ophthalmology within ZEISS' Medical Technology segment and shape this business?

As a Senior Project Manager in Medical Technology, you will play a pivotal role in the digital transformation of the ZEISS Ophthalmology team and other Meditec units. Your primary responsibility will be to initiate, design, and lead cross-functional operational and strategic projects that drive growth and digitization. This includes developing and implementing new business models and solutions to the initiation and execution of future-oriented strategic programs to stay at the forefront of the rapidly evolving healthcare industry.

In this role, you will be a driving force in shaping the future of the Meditec business by identifying and capitalizing on digital opportunities. As a member of our Special Projects team, you will have the autonomy and responsibility to commercialize and drive the best digital solutions for our customers in a complex, international multi-stakeholder environment. Your leadership skills will be vital as you mentor and develop junior colleagues, empowering them to excel in the digital realm.

  • An academical degree with excellent final grades in sciences, technology, engineering, mathematics or economics

  • 5+ years of practical experience in business development, digital health, project management, corporate strategy, management consulting in healthcare, pharma or related industries

  • Passion for the digital and healthcare industry

  • Strong entrepreneurial, strategic thinking and solution-oriented mindset

  • Track-record of successfully managing complex projects in matrix organizations

  • Strong stakeholder management and partnership building skills paired with excellent communication skills

  • Exceptional business acumen and lateral leadership competency

  • Full proficiency in English, German is a plus
