As a Senior Project Manager in Medical Technology, you will play a pivotal role in the digital transformation of the ZEISS Ophthalmology team and other Meditec units. Your primary responsibility will be to initiate, design, and lead cross-functional operational and strategic projects that drive growth and digitization. This includes developing and implementing new business models and solutions to the initiation and execution of future-oriented strategic programs to stay at the forefront of the rapidly evolving healthcare industry.
In this role, you will be a driving force in shaping the future of the Meditec business by identifying and capitalizing on digital opportunities. As a member of our Special Projects team, you will have the autonomy and responsibility to commercialize and drive the best digital solutions for our customers in a complex, international multi-stakeholder environment. Your leadership skills will be vital as you mentor and develop junior colleagues, empowering them to excel in the digital realm.

An academical degree with excellent final grades in sciences, technology, engineering, mathematics or economics

5+ years of practical experience in business development, digital health, project management, corporate strategy, management consulting in healthcare, pharma or related industries

Passion for the digital and healthcare industry

Strong entrepreneurial, strategic thinking and solution-oriented mindset

Track-record of successfully managing complex projects in matrix organizations

Strong stakeholder management and partnership building skills paired with excellent communication skills

Exceptional business acumen and lateral leadership competency

Full proficiency in English, German is a plus
