The globally active company, which produces in Germany and is characterised by an innovative product portfolio, short decision-making processes and flat hierarchies, is a market-leading B2B manufacturer and partner of the food retail trade in its sector. For the sales and marketing organistion in Izmir/Turkey, we are looking for a convincing personality. The role will be located in Izmir/Turkey.
Finance Manager Turkey (Izmir)
You will lead the three-person finance team of the 20-strong organisation and assume overall responsibility for all functions related to Accounting, Tax, Controlling, IT and Treasury. Your reporting line goes directly to the Managing Director in Turkey and you will be the communication interface to all group CFO functions headquartered in Germany. With the support of your team you will operate the accounting of all ledgers, monthly and quarterly and year-end closing and local account reconciliation to German GAAP. You will also be responsible for budgeting and forecasting, management reporting (sales, balance sheet, cash flow, P&L), variance analyses and all tax issues. You will liaise with auditors, tax advisors, banks and authorities and work with your team to maintain and develop the IT systems.
A Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Taxation is required for this responsible position as well as hands-on accounting and controlling experience, preferably in an multinational company. Deep knowledge of TFRSs is mandatory, knowledge in German GAAP will be highly beneficial. Same is true for knowledge of Netsis and/or SAP S/4HANA. Excellent written and spoken skills in Turkish and English are required, conversational skills in German will be a plus. Personally, you convince through your accuracy and your strong attention to detail, integrity and a sound judgement. You can be descibed as a self-starter and motivator and are a hands-on leader who drives performance. The role can be located in Izmir/Turkey.
