Position Description

We are seeking a motivated working student to support our global QIAGEN brand and media production team in their daily operations and various projects.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in global brand strategy and marketing communication.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and track the production and shipment of giveaways and printed materials across EMEA.

• Manage photo shoots, including freelance coordination and internal order processes.

• Update and maintain internal materials such as PowerPoint presentations, e-cards, the Brand Portal, DAM, and Webshop.

• Assist in planning and executing internal events, primarily at our Hilden location.

• Conduct market research to stay informed about current trends and insights.

This position is initially limited to 12 months, with the possibility of extension. The role requires a commitment of 20 hours per week, with the potential for increased hours during semester breaks.


Position Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a university program in business, marketing, communications, computer science or a related field.

• Strong interest in marketing, branding, media and a desire to develop skills in this area.

• Preferably (but not required) some experience in marketing, communications, or business through internships or other student activities.

• Basic skills in project management and negotiation are advantageous.

• Fluent in English and German, with the ability to communicate effectively across various levels of hierarchy.
