For our Global Reputation Management team based in Cologne we are looking, in a full-time and permanent position, for an

International Internal Communications Manager:in (m/f/d)


  • Implementation and coordination of internal corporate communications projects
  • Support in the conception, organization and supervision of dialogue and exchange formats between employees and with management
  • Lead communication efforts related to organizational changes, including restructuring, new initiatives, or shifts in strategy, ensuring that all employees are informed, engaged, and supported throughout the whole process
  • Active development and strategic maintenance of an internal stakeholder network
  • Interface in an advisory capacity to all international and national DKMS entities and specialist departments in the implementation of internal content, information campaigns, etc.
  • Support in the development and implementation of a consistent corporate messaging and storytelling across our international entities
  • Creation of articles for the intranet tailored to diverse cultural audiences, as well as maintenance and updating of basic content
  • Design and implement initiatives that promote a strong organizational culture, encourage collaboration, and recognize achievements
  • Support in issues management and crisis communication in the internal communication response during incidents and development of language guidelines
  • Support external communications team members in times of high workload
  • Management of service providers

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal communications and experience in change communications is an advantage, preferably in an international or non-profit setting
  • Successfully completed bachelor's degree in the field of humanities and social sciences, languages, communications, Public Relations, journalism or a related field
  • Proficiency in German and English is required; additional language skills are desirable
  • Knowledge of the instruments of internal and external corporate communications
  • High level of competence in writing and editing texts
  • Experience in concept development
  • Knowledge of content management systems
